What's New On Amazon December 2020 Recap
Before we get into the month wrap up, we want to start by wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year!
What a crazy year it has been and it wouldn’t be Amazon if they were not ending it on a high note.
Here are some updates that you should know about as we finish up the year:
First, Amazon has removed the ability for sellers to comment on customer reviews. This is an unfortunate update but does not take away from the importance of handling negative reviews. Just because you cannot comment publicly on the reviews does not mean you cannot learn from them and respond when needed. Continue to go through the negative reviews and make the changes to your products or customer service as applicable.
Next, Amazon has updated the Search Term report feature to include ASIN watching. With this new feature, brands will be able to see when ASINs have dropped from the top three clicked products for a given search term. This feature also shows you how customers (in aggregate) find you and your competitors’ products in the Amazon stores. This includes the relative search popularity, click share, and conversion share for each of the top three clicked products for a given search term.
As Amazon continues to change and add new features, it is crucial for you to stay on top of updates to stay ahead of the competition. Stay with us here through the new year to hear the latest and greatest Amazon news, and as always, you can reach out to us with any questions by heading to
